Diagnostic Radiology
General radiography includes
x-rays that produce two-dimensional images. An example of a
general radiograph would be a chest x-ray, or perhaps an x-ray
of the spine. This x-ray is produced by a source of radiation.
Radiation is not the same as magnetic resonance. Radiation used
to make x-rays is always used in amounts that fit the acronym
ALARA, as low as reasonably achievable.
